The NDIS

The government of Australia is providing financial support to people with disability through National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Every year, roughly $22 billion in funding is provided to almost 500,000 Australians who have permanent and significant disability. For many people, it will be the first time they receive the disability support they need.

Eligibility


The NDIS funding is available to people with a significant and permanent disability who are:
• Up to sixty-five years old
• Australian citizen, permanent resident or special category visa holder
• Usually needing a person or a special equipment for day to day activities
• Needing support now to reduce your future needs

Applying to NDIS


You can call 1800 800 110 to apply, also called making an Access Request, or you can complete and submit the Access Request form via email.
